Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
We collect only what we need to run the waitlist and plan your trips. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
01Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how BLUEPEK GROUP LLC, a Missouri limited liability company doing business as BLUEPEK (“BLUEPEK”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit bluepekgroup.com (the “Site”), join our waitlist, or contact us. We are a planning, coordination and editorial company, and we keep the information we collect to the minimum needed for those purposes.
BLUEPEK GROUP LLC operates both bluepekgroup.com and the BLUEPEK Journal, our review portal at yachtbrokerreviews.com. The Journal has its own terms and privacy notice for its features (accounts, reviews, quote-request matching and paid business plans). BLUEPEK’s own Privacy Policy covers bluepekgroup.com and its waitlist. Waitlist data is not shared with businesses or advertisers featured on the Journal. This policy does not describe data collected through the Journal’s own features.
02Information we collect
Waitlist
When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, your name (optional), the area you are interested in, the time of your consent, and a keyed, pseudonymized hash of your IP address used to detect abuse.
Contact and service communications
If you email us or become a client, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, travel preferences, party size and dates, so that we can respond and plan your trip.
Server logs
Our hosting environment automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, for security and reliability.
Payments
Payments for BLUEPEK service fees are handled by a third-party payment processor such as Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card number. We may receive limited information from the processor, such as a payment confirmation, the last four digits of a card and billing name.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for government ID numbers, dates of birth or financial account details on the Site, and we do not knowingly collect special categories of sensitive data. Please do not send us such information by email unless we have specifically requested it for a booking and explained why.
03How we use information, and why
- To manage the waitlist and send launch updates (your consent).
- To respond to your questions and to plan and coordinate Services you request (performance of a contract, or steps you ask us to take before entering one).
- To process payments and keep business records, including for tax and accounting (legal obligation, legitimate interests).
- To secure the Site, prevent abuse and fix errors (legitimate interests).
- To comply with law, including sanctions screening and responding to lawful requests.
Where the law of your location requires a legal basis for processing, the bases are shown in brackets above.
06Email marketing and CAN-SPAM
We send marketing emails only to people who joined our waitlist or asked to hear from us. Every marketing email will identify us as the sender, include our physical postal address and contain a clear way to unsubscribe. We process opt-outs promptly and no later than 10 business days. You can also write to [email protected] to opt out. We may still send service messages about a booking you have made.
07Retention
Waitlist data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until two years after launch if we have had no contact with you, whichever is earlier. Client and payment records are kept for as long as needed for the Services and for tax, accounting and legal requirements (generally up to seven years). Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
08Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including HTTPS, restricted storage of waitlist data with web access to it blocked, and access limited to authorized personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.
09Your rights and choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a copy of it, or to withdraw consent for waitlist emails at any time. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 45 days, or sooner where the law requires. We may need to verify your identity first. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion and correction; and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
Missouri and other US state residents
Residents of Missouri and other US states may contact us at the email above to exercise any rights available to them under applicable state privacy laws. If we decline a request, you may ask us to explain our reasons.
EEA and UK visitors
The Site is directed to a US audience. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
10Children
The Site and Services are intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA) or from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites, including Suppliers. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
12International transfers
We are based in the United States and store information in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows the current version. For material changes we will post a notice on the Site or, where appropriate, email waitlist members.
